Techniques

Melt & Pour Glycerin Soap
 

Layering

Step 1

  • Melt your first ½ pound of soap.

  • Add dye color and scent.

  • Pour into molds.

  • Let cool completely at room temperature.

  • Do not freeze.

Step 2

  •  Melt your second ½ pound of soap.

  • Add a different dye color and the same Scent.

  • Let soap cool until a light skin forms.

  • Lightly spray first layer of soap in the molds with rubbing alcohol.

  • Peel back the thin layer of skin on your second soap and pour over the first layer.

  • Allow to set completely before removing bars from the molds.
